Administrative Module
The default password for the module is 'password'. In the main screen there are all customers displayed. Ones they are sorted by Active/Inactive property and then by StartDate. If you need to find particular e-mail within the page - just press CTRL-F and use the build-in browser functions. The ID field is the user's unique identifier in the database. Password field is the customer password , he must use it to access download area. StartDate is the date, when the customer was subscribed for the first time. EndDate is the date when the subscription ends. Plan field displays the user's subscription plan. Active - the customer current status (active or not). Payment is the way of payment (CC, Check, ACH, Cash, etc. ).
You can manage users from the administration module - Add users, Edit and Delete (mark as inactive). This way you can use this module to manually add users with payment ways different from credit card and still have them in the site statistics and reports. A special way of payment 'NO' was implemented for administrative use (no record will be generated for that user in the accounting system)
The Reports button shows the the main page of the reports module. There you can select a date range for your report and its type. The first three reports in the list are financial reports (turnover per customer, paymnet type, plan type) and the next three are statistical (file usage, hits per IP numbers, hits per customer).
The Plans button gives you the opportunity to add and edit plans.
With the Paymnet Types button you can add and edit payment types.
The Setup button gives you the ability to change some administrative parameters.
Password is the password for the Administrative module.
Use log file access. When "Yes" then every file accessed with the race.exe CGI is logged and depending of the user counter the access is denied or granted.
Use mail notification on subscribe. When "Yes" - the customer will be notified via e-mail on subscribe.
Mail notification 'From' field (your e-mail): . The "From:" filed of the above e-mail message.
Mail notification 'Subject' field: . The "Subject:" field of the subscription e-mail.
Mail notification text: The text of the e-mail. You can insert the following information into the letter: password = @@1, charged amount = @@2, subscription date = @@3, expiration date = @@4.Use mail users list to administrator (Y/N): You can have a mail list with all your active customers.
Mail User list FTP address (URL): If previous field is "Yes", here you must have a URL to FTP address to the .forward file on a Unix machine. This .forward file will be updated automatically when news user subscribe or old user expire. To send mail to all your customers you only need to send mail to this mailing address where the .forward file is.
Customers Module
To access the customers information, the user have to enter his password and then he can view
the following information:
The Files button shows the the file usage for the customer.
The IPs button shows the hits per used IP numbers.
Hits button shows the total hits per customer.
