What is a merchant number?
A merchant number is given by merchant banks to
anyone who bills credit cards. To use Paybutton I or II
the merchant
account has to be approved for Internet transactions. That is
because, unlike face-to-face credit card billing, there
is no signature on the web transaction.
Because a storefront or a commercial
office is sometimes required, it is not uncommon for companies or
individuals to be refused a merchant number. In this case we
can complete your purchases through our merchant number.
If you would like to use our merchant number, you will have to provide us with
some information about yourself and your business. We cannot
guarantee that we will approve everyone.
